1. Product Overview
The Autonics PR12-4DN belongs to the PR series cylindrical inductive proximity sensor. It adopts shielded M12 nickel-plated brass threaded housing with a rated sensing distance of 4 mm. This unit is a 3-wire DC NPN normally open inductive sensor with built-in reverse polarity protection and short-circuit protection. It realizes non-contact detection of ferromagnetic metal objects and converts proximity signals into digital switching signals. Widely used for workpiece detection, position feedback, counting and travel limit control on automated assembly lines, machine tools, conveyor systems and packaging machinery.
