1. Product Overview
The Banner S18UBARQ belongs to the U-GAGE S18U series right-angle ultrasonic proximity sensor. It adopts time-of-flight ultrasonic detection principle with a sensing range of 30 mm to 300 mm. This model features bipolar discrete outputs (simultaneous NPN and PNP), TEACH window programming function, and built-in 5-pin M12 quick-disconnect connector. Different from photoelectric sensors, ultrasonic sensors achieve stable detection independent of target color, transparency and surface reflectivity. Widely applied on automated assembly lines, conveyor systems, packaging machinery and material-handling equipment for object detection, material level monitoring and position feedback.
