Product Overview
This original SIEMENS optical link module belongs to SIMATIC NET series. It converts RS 485 electrical PROFIBUS signal to optical signal and extends bus transmission distance via glass fiber. It carries one electrical RS 485 port and two glass fiber interfaces with four BFOC sockets. It supports PROFIBUS transmission speed from 9.6 kbit per second to 12 Mbit per second, with maximum transmission distance up to 2850 meters. It is widely used in factory automation, process control and long distance PROFIBUS network to resist electromagnetic interference.
