1. Product Overview
LC1D18BD is an original genuine electromagnetic contactor belonging to Schneider Electric TeSys Deca LC1D series, specially designed for three-phase asynchronous motor start-stop control and AC load switching in industrial automation systems, machine tools, water pump equipment, HVAC units, conveyor lines and low-voltage control cabinets.
This is a 3-pole non-reversing contactor with 3 main normally open power contacts, equipped with a 24V DC control coil. Under AC-3 utilisation category (standard motor operating condition), its rated working current reaches 18A at 440V AC, capable of driving three-phase motors up to 7.5kW. It comes with built-in 1NO+1NC standard auxiliary contacts for signal feedback to PLC and control loops. Adopting compact modular structure, it supports 35mm DIN rail mounting and panel screw fixing, and can be flexibly combined with thermal overload relays, auxiliary contact blocks, mechanical interlocks and other TeSys series accessories to form complete motor starter assemblies. The DC coil features built-in surge suppression circuit, stable anti-interference performance, suitable for DC control signal scenarios widely used in automation equipment. 2. Main Functions
- Remote Automatic On/Off Control for Motors & AC Loads
When 24V DC voltage is applied to the coil, the electromagnetic system pulls in contacts to switch on the main circuit; cutting off coil power releases contacts to disconnect the circuit. It realizes automatic remote start and stop of three-phase motors, as well as switching of resistive loads such as heating tubes, lighting equipment.
- Signal Feedback via Built-in Auxiliary Contacts
Integrated 1 normally open and 1 normally closed auxiliary contacts synchronously act with main contacts, feeding back contactor pull-in or release status to programmable controllers, indicator lights and interlocking circuits for logic control and operation monitoring.
- Arc Extinguishing & Long-Term Stable Switching
Independent sealed arc extinguishing chambers are configured for each main pole to rapidly cool and extinguish electric arcs generated during circuit breaking, effectively protecting contact surfaces from ablation and extending service life under frequent switching cycles.
- Expandable Functional Compatibility
Optional accessories including delay modules, auxiliary contact blocks, mechanical interlock units and surge suppressors can be assembled on the side or top of the contactor to realize timing control, multi-point signal output and reverse rotation interlock functions.
